Field Trip - Museum of Design Atlanta (7th Grade)

Learning Target - I will analyze how nature inspires innovation by taking notes on a biomimicry video and creating my own invention inspired by the natural world.

Field Trip - Museum of Design Atlanta (8th Grade)

Learning Target - I will understand how design impacts society and explore how inequity and injustice can be addressed through creative design solutions. I will analyze examples of design for justice and create a simple concept for my own design solution.

Field Trip - Museum of Design (6th Grade)

Learning Target - I will explore how design thinking can be used to reimagine school spaces of the future by analyzing current schools, identifying needs, and creating a simple prototype drawing. I will practice empathy, ideation, and visualization.
