Mr. Robert Chauncey has been teaching for 25 years, starting at Kelsey Avenue Middle School in 2000 and moving with the school when Kennedy Road Middle School first opened. He has taught Language Arts, Reading Support, Social Studies, and Science across all middle school grade levels. Last year he was selected to be the AVID Elect teacher and KRMS AVID Co-Coordinator. 

For the last three summers, Mr. Chauncey has attended the AVID Summer Institute in both Orlando and Tampa. He was awarded the 2023 - 2024 Teacher of the Year for KRMS. He is currently AVID Coordinator for KRMS and an active member on the KRMS Leadership Committee and AVID Site Team.
