Local Scholarships Available to GSCS Students:
Kelsey School Property Trust, Inc. Scholarship Opportunity . Every GSCS high school principal may nominate up to 3 graduating seniors to be considered for the Kelsey School Property Trust, Inc. Scholarship. DUE March 15
Marie Fort Scholarship is a scholarship for residents of Spalding County, graduating from GHS or SHS. Students must demonstrate a financial need and attend the University of Georgia.
Georgia United Foundation is a scholarship for high school seniors. Applicants, parents, or grandparents of the student must be a member(s) of Georgia United for at least 6 months from date of entry and be in good standing. Membership will be verified upon receipt of entry. Applicants must be a GHS or SHS high school senior and enrolling as a full-student in an accredited college, university or technical school.
Alice Mathis Scholarship is a $500 scholarship for GHS or SHS students who are majoring in education. DUE March 15
The Imes Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship for GHS ROTC graduating seniors. DUE March 15
Laura Glover Martin Memorial Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship for one graduating GHS senior and one graduating SHS senior. DUE March 15
NACOM Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship for one graduating GHS senior and one graduating SHS senior. DUE March 15
R.P. Mask Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship for one graduating GHS senior and one graduating SHS senior. DUE March 15
Alice Dodd Memorial Scholarship is a $2500 scholarship for first place and a $1500 scholarship to first runner up to assist a Georgia high school senior who has an outstanding record of community service in pursuing his/her educational objectives. DUE by MARCH 15
Bobby Dodd Memorial Scholarship is $2500 scholarship for first place and a $1500 scholarship a scholarship to assist a physically challenged high school senior who has an outstanding record of community service in pursuing his/her educational objectives. DUE by MARCH 15
