WE HAVE THOUGHT OUTSIDE THE BOX BY THINKING OF OUR DIFFERENCES BY TAKING ON THE ROLE OF ALIENS. WE HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT HOW AN ALIEN MIGHT LOOK SCARY TO US, BUT TO THE ALIEN COLONY HE MIGHT LOOK NICE. - by Louis S.
We get involved in a variety of competitions. We have a swim team, soccer team, basketball team and a math team for a tournament called WAISAL the West African International Schools Athletic League.
We have many after school activities like Service Learning,Volleyball, and many more.
We also make sure everyone feels welcome and happy. Our teachers here are strict, but fun.
In ICSA, we do not accept bullying and hurting people because we are all family and friends. We are taught how to accept each other and collaborate with each other.
At ICSA we are risk-takers, open-minded, Inquirers, Caring, Knowledgeable, Principled, Thinkers, Balanced, Reflective, Communicators and many more.
We have a variety of countries and places where our ICSA members come from around the world.
At our school we embrace our differences but according to the following teachers this is what they said about embracing our differences. Our math teacher Mrs. Mowlavi said, "No, we learn from each others difference." Our french teacher Ms. Guy said, " Yes, there are a lot programs that focuses on embracing our differences." She also said " students could work more on embracing difference." Our photographer Mr. Gonda teacher said, "Yes, each student does not embrace their differences but our community as a whole does." He also said "if we could have education that encourages students to reach out of their comfort zones, as a school help facilitate activities that foster relationship building." We improve embracing our difference everyday!
We have multiple sports, activity, and clubs that works on embracing our differences!
