The local food sources and gardens topic is about why to buy local and plant gardens. When you buy food from far away, you pollute the Earth because of the effects of transportation. And when you plant a garden, you clean up the Earth and you don't have to buy stuff from far away. When you are gardening, you may not be able to get anything to grow big, but it still cleans up the carbon dioxide. And you also help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere. Finally, buying local items won’t increase your carbon footprint!

Food banks are part of locally sourced food options. Food banks help people who don't have that much money to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. People can donate nonperishable food or money. Food banks use the money to buy fresh produce and meat. They give food away for free to people who need it. Local gardens grow food for people to eat, but farms help as well by growing most of the food we eat. Farms also produce milk, meat, and much more than fruits and vegetables!

People can make a difference if they focus on local foods and gardens. They can buy local by looking on the tag of the food or signs in the grocery store and seeing if it was grown close by. Or, they can buy produce from farm stands. And if they want to help climate change, they can plant trees. If they want to clean up trash, they can clean up trash in their community so wild gardens have a chance to grow. If they want to protect nature's beauty, they can try not to litter as much. And, if they don't litter, cleaning up trash will be a bigger help.

Dachas are popular in Russia
because people often prefer to retire with nature. The cottage is an ideal option for this. In the country, you can grow beautiful flowers that please the eye. You can also grow a wonderful harvest for the winter. In general, the cottage is an irreplaceable thing for every person!

When visitors read our website, I am sure they'll want to help fix this problem! They might sign up to volunteer in the park where they plant flowers or pick up trash.

To raise awareness, we can write about how to grow food and make a garden. Growing food is helpful to our environment. Gardens help with growing food, so they have a huge impact on the environment and the food we eat. Farms help as well they grow bananas, apples, carrots, and a lot more. Farms also have cows, chickens, and more animals.
