Our oceans are a crucial part of our survival - but right now, they're polluted and not in a good state. Many have already made an effort to pitch in and help out Earth's oceans, but not enough. The Earth could always sue more helpers, which is what we're doing. We believe that anyone, no matter the age, race, or sex, can help contribute to helping the ocean. Helping protect our oceans is extremely easy, although it may require changing your normal routine.
It is common to be at a beach and see trash everywhere - but it shouldn't. People around the world have been so used to going to beaching and throwing their trash on the ground, or witnessing others litter, that many view it as "normal and something that we can't fix. But we need to fix that problem, since the world's oceans are full of trash, and it's affecting not only the animals that live in it, but also us too. Although fixing this problem seems extremely difficult, if everyone around the world did their part, the world's oceans will be clean in no time.

Many consider this age to be the world's "Modern Age," but apparently not modern enough to reduce the pollution they're producing. The world is dominated by large countries that are able to produce the most, meaning that they produce lots of waste. Many of these countries have put a lot of effort into making sure that they don't pollute the oceans - and it shows, since they don't show up on this graph. If you are concerned with how much your country is polluting the ocean, you may be able to write your government a letter, depending on where you live, but do not worry if your government does not listen to its people.

Many already know that trash is a huge problem regarding oceans, and some have even made an effort to collect trash on beaches and/or in oceans. This is great, but, according to this graph, lots of common everyday items are found. You can help this effort by not using or reducing your use of these items.

Over-fishing is a huge problem regarding oceans. Lots of people know what over-fishing is, but many do not realize how severe the problem is. According to this graph, there are fewer fish in the sea than ever before, and over-fishing is one of the causes of this. You can help stop over-fishing in several ways, like writing letters to your government, or making smart consumer choices.
