Bullying is unwanted , aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated or has the potential to be repeated over time. Both kids who are bullied and who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.

Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.

Types of Bullying

  • Threatening to cause harm

2. Social Bullying

  • Embarrassing someone in public
  • Telling other children not to be friends with someone
  • Leaving someone out on purpose
  • Spreading rumors about someone

3. Physical Bullying

  • Tripping/ pushing
  • Taking or breaking someone's things
  • Spitting
  • Hitting/ pinching/ kicking
  • Making mean or rude hand gestures

Bullying can occur during or after school hours. It can also happen in places like school playground or bus. It can happen traveling to and fro from school or in neighborhood or on the internet.
