The University of Peradeniya Alumni Office is a global platform to network all former students of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees of the University. The network offers you a way to keep in touch with the University and former batchmates, as well as opportunities to meet new friends and organize on your alma mater. All our alumni are an asset to the University. Many are active and committed members of alumni associations and chapters. Some help us design our degree programmes and courses, contribute as guest lecturers or help our students to find internships and opportunities for degree projects, and contributed to Student Assistanceship Program. As an alumnus there are many ways to get involved and stay in touch with University of Peradeniya.

Inaugural Edition of Alumni Relations Office(ARO) Newsletter
The inaugural edition of the Alumni newsletter published by the Alumni Relations Office of the University of Peradeniya will be published in the month of January 2024.
The newsletter includes Alumni success stories, Articles and Essays, University Updates and Event highlights. There will be a creative corner which publishes the creative work of the Alumni, staff of the University and their children.

University of Peradeniya is ranked the # 01 in Sri Lanka by the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking 2023 for the 4th consecutive year. The THE impact ranking is based on Sustainability Development Goals. The University of Peradeniya stands within the best 400 universities in the world. The university having being ranked the number one in the country indicates the commitment of the university to the sustainability.
