Research Paper

The research paper serves as a medium for presenting research findings that are completed and have not been published. Accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation at the conference.
論文為呈現完整且尚未公開發表之新研究成果的主要媒介。受錄取的論文將被排入研討會發表議程。

Research Paper Guidelines

• Research papers can be submitted in Chinese or English.
  論文投稿中文、英文均可。

• The research paper must follow ACM SIGCHI's single-column format. The templates can be downloaded from the official ACM SIGCHI website.
  所有投稿需依循 ACM SIGCHI 之單欄式格式撰寫。論文投稿格式範本請至 ACM SIGCHI 官方網站下載。

• The submission includes the title, abstract within 1000 words, authors' information, paper manuscript in PDF, and supplementary material if necessary.
  投稿資料包括研究作品之標題、1000字以內之摘要、作者資訊、論文初稿之PDF檔、以及附件(非必須)。

• TAICHI2024 adopts a double-blind review process. Please upload your paper manuscript after anonymization.
  TAICHI2024採雙向匿名 (Double-blind) 審查，請務必上傳匿名後之論文檔案。

• Please submit your manuscript in PDF. The paper file with attachments should be less than 20MB.
  請以PDF檔案上傳您的投稿論文，且論文含附件需小於20MB。

• The length of full papers should be between four to eight pages (excluding references).
  論文頁數以四至八頁為限(不含參考文獻)。

• 中文投稿字體請使用標楷體，英語字型和其餘格式規範與ACM SIGCHI格式規範同。

• You may submit supplementary files, such as research data or demonstration video, within 50MB.
  您可以上傳50MB以內之相關之附件，如研究資料或展示影片等。

• According to the authors' choice, the research papers will be published in the TAICHI 2024 proceedings as abstracts or full papers. After the research paper is accepted, the authors must submit the camera-ready version (abstract or full paper correspondingly).
  依據作者的選擇，研究論文將以摘要或全文的方式出版於TAICHI 2024的論文集中。在論文被接受之後，作者必須依其選擇上傳完稿之摘要或全文。

Poster

Posters provide authors and conference participants with an opportunity for direct interaction to discuss research that is either ongoing or has been presented at other conferences. Accepted posters must be presented with printed copies during the conference poster session.
海報提供作者與研討會參與者直接互動討論正在進行或已在其他研討會發表的研究。受錄取的海報必須在研討會海報時段以輸出之海報進行發表。

Poster Guidelines

• Posters can be submitted in Chinese or English.

• The poster includes two parts: (a) a short paper and (b) a poster.

(a) Short Paper

• The short paper must follow ACM SIGCHI's single-column format. The templates can be downloaded from the official ACM SIGCHI website.

• Research motivation, objectives, methods, current results, and future plans are expected in a poster's short paper.
  海報的短論文應包含研究動機、目的、方法、階段性成果與未來規劃等內容。

• 中文論文字體請使用標楷體，其餘格式規範與ACM SIGCHI格式規範同。

• You may submit supplementary files, such as research data or demonstration video, within 50MB.

• Posters will be published in TAICHI 2024's proceedings as abstracts.  After the work is accepted, the authors must submit the camera-ready version of their abstracts.

(b) Poster

• The poster itself should NOT be uploaded to the submission system. However, one copy should be prepared by the author(s) for the presentation at the conference.
  海報檔案不須上傳至投稿系統上，但須由作者負責出圖列印一張於研討會中進行展示。

• Authors must be present and give their presentation during the scheduled poster session. Additionally, we will inform poster authors when they should post their posters.
  作者必須在排定海報發表的時間出席並進行發表，此外，我們會通知海報作者關於何時應進行海報張貼的時間。

• The size of the presented posters should be in A1 portrait.
  發表之海報尺寸為 A1 直式。

• The design of the poster must consider its readability and aesthetics. Font size should not be smaller than 12 pt.
  海報之設計必須考量易讀性與美感，文字字型大小不應小於12點。

Demo

Demo sessions allow for the demonstration of interactive artifacts, interfaces, system operations, or other practical works. Accepted works must be demonstrated and presented in the conference's demo session.
實作展示提供作者展示互動物件、介面、系統運作或其他等實作成果。錄取之作品須在研討會的展示攤位上展示和發表。

• The motivation, description of design concept and technical practices, visual presentation of the result (e.g., photos), and discussions are expected in the demo's short paper.

• Demos will be published in TAICHI 2024's proceedings as abstracts.  After the work is accepted, the authors must submit the camera-ready version of their abstracts.

(b) Demo Plan 

• A demo plan is required as supplementary files when submitting the short paper.
  作者必須在上傳小論文時，一併上傳展示計畫作為附件。

• A demo plan includes a literal and visual description of the required spatial dimension for demonstration and other supportive accessories (e.g., table, pedestal, power, etc.).
  展示計畫文字與視覺並行，須說明所需之空間尺寸以及其他展示所需的配件(如桌子、展台、電源等)。

• Session chairs will contact the authors of the accepted works for a detailed demo plan. Please cooperate with the chairs. 議程主席將會與被接受的作者聯繫，商討展場之細節規畫。作者需密切與議程主席配合。

(c) Demonstration

• While the organizer provides space and basic demo support, like power and pedestal, the authors are responsible for the transportation and installation of the demo works.
  主辦方提供空間和基本的展示支援，如電力和展台，而展示作品之運送與佈展須由作者負責。

• Authors must be present and give their presentation during the scheduled demo session. Additionally, we will inform poster authors when they should install their works.
  作者必須在排定展示發表的時間出席並進行發表，此外，我們會通知作者關於何時應進行佈展的時間。

Become a Reviewer

Please note all authors of submitted papers to TAICHI 2024 have been informed and consented to be on our reviewer list. We appreciate not only hard-working but also communicative researchers. :)
請注意，所有投稿在TAICHI 2024的作者皆知情並同意作為研討會的審查者候選人。我們歡迎努力工作並且樂於溝通交流的研究者。

Registration for the Conference

Please note at least one author of the accepted paper should register for the conference and present the work.
請注意，被接受的作品中，至少一位作者必須完成研討會的註冊並親自在研討會中發表其作品。
