Dr Lai grew up in Taiwan and obtained her BSc degree in Chemical Engineering at NCKU Taiwan in 2007 and an MSc degree from NTU Taiwan in 2009. She joined the Reisner group in Cambridge in 2011 to pursue her PhD studies and obtained her PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge in 2015. Dr Lai was an assistant professor of the Department of Materials and Optoelectronic Science, NSYSU, Taiwan, from 2016-2019. She has been appointed as an assistant professor of Materials Science and Engineering, NCKU Taiwan, since Aug 2019. Dr Lai’s research interests include artificial photosynthesis and photo-reforming.
