Copyright Friendly Resources
Below you'll find videos and descriptions on how to locate copyright friendly images. If you didn't take the image you MUST cite it, unless it's copyright friendly.
The majority of the images on Pixabay will be copyright friendly and you can use without citing. If an image requires payment/login it most likely isn't copyright friendly.
Method 2: Google Advance Image Search
When searching for an image to use in Google you MUST search using advance image search and choose Creative Commons under the drop down. Creative Commons license still requires you to cite the image.
A reminder/definition of each type of license:
Creative Commons licenses: These images are usually available at no charge to use, but require credit. They may also have limitations on how, or in what context, you can use them. For example, an image’s license might state that you can’t modify it or use it for commercial purposes.
Commercial or other licenses: These images have non-Creative Commons licenses and can be from either sites available at no charge or commercial sites that require payment.
