On the same day as the London Marathon, teachers from two of our Bedworth schools took on a 26.2 mile duathlon around Draycote reservoir.
Students worked together to complete over 20 marathons in one day – achieving an astonishing 554 miles between them and raising a staggering £3300, with even reception and nursery students taking part.
Students from Nicholas Chamberlaine completed a sit up challenge over 26 days.
Sophie took on 26 miles by herself, completing 1 mile every lunchtime for 26 days.
Students at Stantonbury undertook a number of sporting challenges, including rowing 26.2 miles.
Key Stage 2 students at Lordswood Primary in Medway completed 26 miles over 26 days, while nursery students set themselves the challenge of doing 26 star jumps for 26 days.
