Hi and welcome to Greymouth High School's Mandarin website. Feel free to peruse the website.

Year 9 is an eight week module that incorporates cultural sensitivity and basic language skills. Cultural sensitivity will center around the basic structure of grammar, acceptance, self projection and tones in the language. Language is focused on basic functions like numbers, dates, family members.

If you would like to keep up with events, check out the calendar to the right. This year, the classes will be trialing a google addon called Easy Accents to help with writing in pin yin. You can find an explanatory video below.
