Re-do the Volleyball pre-test sheet on your workspace (in the Evidence coloumn, 3rd Green card down from the top. dated Mon 14 July). This will allow you to use evidence to back up any judgements you make in the assignment.

On our workspace I have put 3 Cards under the resources coloumn for today's lesson. Please read the top one for the technique on the ball toos part of the jump serve.
Then watch both videos for recommendations for practice activities.
Students can then choose from the following 2 options:
1- My keys are on my desk in the SLT office. Students can go and get some Volleyball from the MAC gym and work on Ball toss consistency and direction on the courts outside room 16.
2- work on other subjects in Room 16. .

I have marked the 3.9 assignments. They will need to be moderated however before I can return the grades and give feedback. We have a few things to tidy up for the 3.9 assignments and then will move onto our units of work for term 3. These will be 2 combined standards (3.2 & 3.3) which will centre around the carrying out and and evaluating/analysing a skill learning programme for a jump serve in Volleyball.

This week we are moving our focus away from the practical work with Turbo Touch and onto the first theory based achievement standard. We will begin by developing our understanding of the requirements of the standard before moving on to learning the base theory which we can then apply to a chosen context.
We also have a senior Assembly half way through our Monday class and Athletics Day on Tues (or Thurs if Tues is rained off).
