On this website there is a clear distinction between the terms "paper airplane" and "papercraft airplane", which, although easily confused, do not here refer to the same thing. Here's some definitions:
Paper airplane: An airplane made primarily by folding paper, with cutting, taping, and attaching cut-out parts being a supporting piece of the design or as finishing touches.
Papercraft airplane: An airplane primarily made by making parts out of cut-out pieces of paper, with the parts being taped together for final assembly. Folding is minimal.
