These are some JavaScript addons that have been made by AriakimTaiyo, with the exception of the 3d landmarks addon and spoiler arming addon. Many of these can be converted to a bookmarklet for easy running but that is not the case for others. A few of these are failed/uncompleted projects, so they're not working right now and I'm trying to complete them.
Some of these need to be injected into the console to run, but the console can be laggy, hard to navigate, and on some school Chromebooks accessing it is not allowed. There's a lag-free bookmarklet console that works pretty well for GeoFS addons here.
How to install a bookmarklet
If the addon is tagged as a bookmarklet, copy the JS code, create a bookmark, click "More", name it the addon name, and paste the JavaScript you copied earlier into the URL space. Then click "Save" and it'll be there!
If you know how, it might be a good idea for organization to make a new bookmarks folder and fill it with all your bookmarklets
How to run a bookmarklet
While playing GeoFS, click on the bookmarklet to run it. Don't forget to follow the instructions for the individual addon; some addons require you to be in a specific aircraft in order to run them.
If your bookmarks bar is not visible while playing GeoFS, go to a new tab, right-click on any bookmark, go down to the very bottom of the menu that pops up and click "Show bookmarks bar". It should now be visible while playing GeoFS.
List of completed addons:
GeoFS additional aircraft liveries [BOOKMARKLET] [RUN-AND-FORGET]
This addon adds additional liveries to a few GeoFS aircraft:
737: Ryanair, Air Canada, Delta, blank livery
A380: Airbus House livery
A321Neo: United livery
747-8F: Lufthansa livery
A-10 Warthog: Gray livery
Make sure to select the base aircraft, wait for it to load in, and then click on the livery option. Otherwise the livery may not load.
GeoFS lift-based wingflex for CC aircraft [BOOKMARKLET] [NOT RUN-AND-FORGET]
This improves the wingflex realism on the following aircraft:
787-10
787-9
777-300ER
A350-1000XWB
In order for it to work, you must first load in one of the supported aircraft, then run the addon. Otherwise it will not work. You also must repeat this upon loading in a different supported aircraft.
GeoFS 777 improvements [BOOKMARKLET] [NOT RUN-AND-FORGET]
This gives the 777-300ER better wingflex, smooth gear tilt, and a host of new sound effects, including GPWS. It falls under the same usage rules as the wingflex addon.
GeoFS spoiler arming [BOOKMARKLET] [RUN-AND-FORGET]
This allows you to arm the spoilers so that they automatically deploy upon landing, which reduces the pilot workload during landing.
To arm the spoilers, press Shift+B while airborne. To dearm the spoilers, press Shift+B again. Note that pressing B will cause the spoilers to dearm in addition to deploying them, so in order to rearm them you must lower the spoilers and arm them again.
GeoFS 3d landmarks [BOOKMARKLET] [RUN-AND-FORGET]
This adds 15 3d landmarks to GeoFS. You can find exactly what it contains here.
GeoFS addon chat [BOOKMARKLET][EASY TO USE]
This addon adds a seperate chat to GeoFS. Intended to be used as a smaller-community GeoFS chat minus the MRP, toxicity, and sheer number of users on the main chat, it works very well and also gives you an FPS counter. Credit to some guy on Replit for making the chat servers and code, and credit to AriakimTaiyo for the base UI.
List of incomplete addons:
GeoFS toggleable ILS [CONSOLE INJECTION ONLY][EASY TO USE]
I want this to work as a bookmarklet, hence the formatting, but have thus far been unsuccessful. I'm also working on a loading message that's compatible with other addons/won't interrupt them.
To run it, you must copy the code, press Ctrl+Shft+i while playing GeoFS or run the bookmarklet console, then paste the code into the console and either press enter or click "Execute" (depending on what you're using). Then, you use <i> to load in the ILS and <L> to close it. Terrain radar is on by default.
Fly-by-wire: Ariakim has made independent fly-by-wire setups for three aircraft thus far. They require more than 20 FPS to work properly, and they'll probably be posted here at some point if I can lop them into one addon.
