Membership to the PTA is paid annually. You also must be a paid member to vote at PTA meetings. Click here to join.

An open donation to the Greenwood PTA in any amount goes a long way toward our mission to support our community. Visit our MemberHub store to donate.

Dining Night Out

One night each month, we encourage you to not cook dinner! Patron the following Olney / Brookeville restaurants on the nights specified, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the PTA. Here's the schedule for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Check back often for updates!

2024 Read-a-Thon

The 2024 Greenwood Read-a-Thon has come to an end! Thanks to all our readers, reading cheerleaders, and donors for supporing our biggest fundraiser of the yeart! We got to 93% of our fundraising goal, and we will be able to do so many great things as a community with these funds for the rest of the year. Stay tuned for details about our big fundraiser for the 2024 - 2025 school year. As a reminder, the funds we raise go toward:

• Instructional expenses for each classroom

• Teacher appreciation days

• Free activities like Movie Night, Trunk or Treat, Culture Night, and PJ Night

• In-school activities like Rock 'n' Roll Recess, the birthday bulletin board, recognizing our patrols at the end of the year, and exciting assemblies

• Special purchases to help the school, like the recent purchase of new furniture for the media center 

2023 Silent Auction

In coordination with the 2023 Craft Night, the Greenwood PTA hosted a silent auction. Families could bid on everything from students being the Principal for a day, to lunch bunches with teachers, to gift certificates for use across Montgomery County. Your support for this fundraiser helps the PTA host a variety of fun events for students throughout the year. The PTA also support teachers, classrooms, school activities, and families that could use extra support. Stay tuned for details about a silent auction to support the 2024 - 2025 school year.

Scholastic Book Fair

Greenwood hosts the Scholastic Book Fair two times per school year. All purchases through the Book Fair benefit our school. We look forward to hosting students and families in the 2024 - 2025 school year!

FYI: If you have eWallet funds remaining from previous book fairs, those funds converted into a Scholastic eGift card balance. You can apply that eGift card balance for a new eWallet for future book fairs or you can use the eGift card to shop at Scholastic.com. Log in to your Scholastic online account to check for an available balance. 

SpiritWear

You can make custom Greenwood gear and have it shipped directly to your door anytime of the year. Just visit greenwoodspiritwear.com to place an order. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the PTA. 

Harris Teeter

When you link your Harris Teeter VIC Card to the Greenwood PTA via its Together in Education program, Harris Teeter will make a donation based on your purchases. Follow the intrucations to link your card here:  https://tie.harristeeter.com/together-in-education. 

GiveBacks

With Givebacks, when you shop and dine at participating stores and restaurants, those merchants automatically donate a percentage to the cause of your choice. To make sure you’re all set up to give, register for a Givebacks account and securely link your credit card. Then, select the cause of your choice (Greenwood PTA). 

School Supply Boxes 

Each school year, the PTA conducts school supply kit fundraiser, where families can order their school supplies online from School Tool Box  and have the purchase benefit the PTA. This fundraiser has been completed for 2023-2024 School Year.  For the next fundraiser, look for information to be released in June 2024!
