An open donation to the Greenwood PTA in any amount goes a long way toward our mission to support our community. Visit our MemberHub store to donate.
Greenwood’s annual biggest fundraiser is Friday, October 30th at 6pm!
This year’s theme is COSTUME RUN! The fun-filled event will feature a costume parade, fun run, and end with the always exciting Trunk or Treat!

Our fundraising goal is $10,000 and we need everyone’s help! If just 200 students raise $50 each, we will meet our goal! Students can earn school-wide prizes, classroom prizes, and personal prizes along the way!
The funds raised will allow the PTA to support the amazing programs students look forward to all year.

Dining Night Out
One night each month, we encourage you to not cook dinner! Patron the Olney / Brookeville restaurants on the nights specified, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the PTA. Check back throughout the year for new opportunities.
September 23: California Tortilla, 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (completed)
October 21: Chipotle, 5 - 9 p.m.
Scholastic Book Fair
Greenwood hosts the Scholastic Book Fair two times per school year. All purchases through the Book Fair benefit our school.
The Fall Book Fair will be held on Monday, November 9 - Friday, November 13 — with online shopping extended through Thursday, November 19. You and your students can shop a few different ways. Be sure to note the different days for each shopping opportunity.
In-Person Student Shopping: Your students can shop the Book Fair with their classes on Monday, November 9 - Friday, November 13.
In-Person Parent Shopping: Parents can shop the Book Fair in-person as well. On Monday, November 9 - Thursday, November 12, from 3:40 - 5:30 p.m. – parents will be allowed into the Media Center to shop.
Special Event: On Wednesday, November 11, parents and guardians are invited to visit their child's K-5 classroom to catch a glimpse of what learning at Greenwood looks like each day. The school invites those whose last names begin with A-J to join us from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. and those with last names from K-Z to join us from 10 - 11 a.m. Please note that students must remain in their classrooms during this time.
Shop Online: You can shop online at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/greenwoodelementaryschool13. The Virtual Book Fair will run Friday, November 6 – Thursday, November 19.

Harris Teeter
When you link your Harris Teeter VIC Card to the Greenwood PTA via its Together in Education program, Harris Teeter will make a donation based on your purchases. Follow the intrucations to link your card here: https://tie.harristeeter.com/together-in-education.
GiveBacks
With Givebacks, when you shop and dine at participating stores and restaurants, those merchants automatically donate a percentage to the cause of your choice. To make sure you’re all set up to give, register for a Givebacks account and securely link your credit card. Then, select the cause of your choice (Greenwood PTA).
School Supply Boxes
Each school year, the PTA conducts school supply kit fundraiser, where families can order their school supplies online from School Tool Box and have the purchase benefit the PTA. Check back in June 2027 for next school year!
