We are determined to provide an equitable D.C. trip experience for all students of Greenwich Public Schools. Please read below for more information on financial assistance.
The 2026 deadline to apply for financial aid is Friday, October 31st!
Financial aid for the 2026 DC trip will be awarded as follows:
Total cost of trip: $900*
If you are FREE/DIRECTLY CERTIFIED, you are eligible for aid up to $800
If you are REDUCED, you are eligible for aid up to $400
*Families are responsible for the $100 non-refundable registration fee and the OPTIONAL trip insurance for $119. Neither of these payments are included in financial aid. If you are applying for financial aid, do not add on the insurance.
Follow the steps below to apply for financial aid:
Submit your Free & Reduced Lunch Application (you can get this from the WMS Main Office).
Register for the trip (online only) and pay the $100 registration fee.
When registering, please enter $100 as the price you want to pay today. If you need to pay this as cash, please enter $0 as the price you want to pay today and submit payment to the WMS Main Office within 48 hours.
Submit this completed form to the WMS Main Office no later than October 31st. Financial aid will not be guaranteed after this date.
You will receive an email letting you know if you are approved for aid by mid-November.
