IB Courses

What is the International Baccalaureate Program?

The International Baccalaureate Program (IB) aims to assist students in their endeavors to develop their talents and teach them to relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the world outside.

Beyond intellectual rigor and high academic standards, the IB courses place a strong emphasis on the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship so they may become critical and compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners, and informed participants in local and world affairs, conscious of the shared humanity that binds all people together while respecting the variety of cultures and attitudes that makes for the richness of life.

Which Students Should Take IB Courses?

It's academically rigorous. It's stimulating, and inspiring, and allows students to really excel and see what they're capable of. Students finish with skills and a level of confidence that will push them forward their whole life.

How to Make the Choice?

Although it is a rigorous program, an IB education results in personal and academic development for students.

Students in the IB program are already taking college-level courses in high school, making the transition from high school to college much smoother. One of the biggest reasons why students in an IB program are more prepared for college is because the standards of the curriculum are centered on critical thinking and research. Students aren’t just learning the curriculum; they’re learning the reasoning behind the curriculum and learning “how” to learn.

IB is Designed for all Kinds of Students!
