It felt awesome getting a teacher recognition award from the Local VFW -- Post 6734 along with my fellow co-worker, Ms. B. Jones, for outstanding community service.
My name is Mr. Terrell Brown, and my highest priority as your child's teacher is to ensure that all students reach their maximum potential, which ultimately leads to success. To help the students in my reading groups achieve their best, it is crucial for parents, teachers, and school officials to work together toward this goal. Your support and cooperation will make my 21st year in GCSD both prominent and productive.
I am originally from Cross, SC, and I have been teaching in Greenville County Schools since 2005. I graduated from Claflin University in 2001 and earned my Master’s degree from Southern Wesleyan University in 2012. I enjoy reading history books, writing about fun topics, and watching sports, especially college football. I am a fan of the University of Miami Hurricanes. My love for sports began during my high school and college years (1994-2001) when I worked as a sportswriter and hosted a radio show.
Since I do not have children, I find great joy in traveling, especially to sporting events. Please lend your support as we work together to help your child reach the next level of success. Feel free to contact me anytime. My phone number at school is (864-355-3325) and my email address is tebrown@greenville.k12.sc.us. Thank you once again for allowing me to be your child's Reading Interventionist teacher during the 2025-26 school year.
