Media Specialist: Aaron Mednick
My name is Aaron Mednick and my family and I moved to South Carolina from Buffalo, New York (brrrrrrrrr).
My wife and I currently live in Simpsonville. SC. I have two wonderful boys (Wesley 13 and Oliver 8). I enjoy many things outside of school including being with my wonderful family, reading, watching football (go Bills!) and basketball (go Knicks!), playing video games, and playing Pokémon cards with my son.
I love all forms of storytelling including novels, comics, graphic novels, and movies! My favorite novel is The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown, my favorite YA novel is Scythe by Neal Shusterman, and my favorite film is The Fifth Element.
I am so excited to be here at Woodmont and look forward to working with every student in the building! I will take my love to reading and vast knowledge of technology, design, and bring it to our media center.
Media Clerk: Stephanie Davis
I was born and raised in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Growing up, I attended Greenville County Schools: Simpsonville Elementary, Bryson Middle, and Hillcrest High. While attending Hillcrest, I played my favorite sport volleyball, where we were state champions.
Family is a big part of my life- my parents are supportive in everything I do and I have two older brothers.
I currently live in Fountain Inn with my husband, Scott, and my two sons, Easton and Wrigley.
When not at work, I love spending time with my boys on our family land, going to the beach, eating ice cream, and shopping.
In the bustling metropolis of our school, there are countless superheroes soaring through the halls, and media specialists stand among them, cape billowing in the wind. My superhero mission is to empower young minds through the power of knowledge! I aim to bolster student learning, igniting the flames of critical thinking like a superhero unleashing their superpowers. I strive to cultivate a passion for reading, transforming students into avid readers, much like sidekicks eager to join their heroes on thrilling adventures. Additionally, I work to ensure our community has access to a treasure trove of informational and recreational resources—equipping our young heroes with the tools they need to succeed in their epic quests for wisdom and creativity!
