Media Center Rules
Work productively and quietly on school-related assignments, checking out books, or using the makerspace
Leave the space better than you found it
Treat our books and others using the Media Center with respect
Circulation
Students may visit the Media Center at any time but they MUST have a smart pass and their student ID.
Students may check out Media Center books for 2 weeks. If more time is needed to read the title, books should be renewed.
All ELA classes will visit the Media Center throughout the year to assist you in keeping your check-outs up-to-date.
If a student has an overdue book, check-out may be restricted until the book is returned.
GCSD issued Chromebooks
GCSD will issue Chromebooks to students who complete the Technology Agreement Form. It's expected that everyone will follow the Acceptable Use Policies and PED guidelines. These guidelines are in the student handbook.
Scheduling Classes in the Media Center
Look at our calendar for available dates and email or call Mr. Mednick or Mrs. Davis
Fill out the form about any projects you wish to collaborate!
Sending Individual Students
Issue each student a smart pass and make sure they have a student ID when sending to the media center.
Students should have a specific reason for coming to the media center (checkout, working on a project, read, print, makerspace etc.)
