High School Credit courses start a students high school grade point average (GPA). This is the average of all of the students final grades in any high school credit course. The GPA is what colleges, military recruiters, and future employers will look at to judge a students academic performance, as well as readiness for life after high school. A student with good grades will have a high GPA, and more opportunities available to them upon high school graduation.
