Intermediate Band

Welcome to 7th Grade Band!

This is an exciting year to be in band! Students will continue to grow in their musicianship from the strong foundation that was in built in 6th grade. This year is designed to guide students towards being independent musicians in preparation for 8th grade next year. 

Performing opportunities in 7th Grade Band include:

• Middle School Band Night

• Winter Concert

• Carowinds Festival of Music - TBD

• Solo and Ensemble Festival

• Spring Awards Concert

Additionally, 7th Grade Band students are allowed to audition and participate in some optional performance opportunities outside of WMS. These are interested in going above and beyond the normal band class.

• All-County Honor Band

• Region 3 Honor Band Auditions & Clinic

• All-State Honor Band Auditions & Clinic

• Wildcat Honor Band
