Welcome to Our 7th Grade Writing Class!
Over the next 60 days, we will embark on an exciting journey to strengthen our writing skills.
This course will include:
Foundational Writing Lessons: Identified by our class to address key areas for improvement.
Essay Writing: Crafting an argumentative essay with a focus on structure, coherence, and evidence.
Artistic Elements: Incorporating artistic components into each essay unit to enhance learning and creativity.
Writing Process: Emphasizing the steps of brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing to develop and refine your work.
Presentation Component: Sharing your work with teachers, parents, other classes, and outside partners. Preparing presentations of written work and practicing public speaking skills.
Growth as a Writer: Continuous feedback and practice to help you grow and find your unique writing voice.
