As the WHHS Writing Center, our mission is to create a collaborative and productive environment that fosters, supports, and inspires all students to reach their full potential through the writing process. We work to reach all our peers, in any class, with the understanding that brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing does not have to be done alone. 

Our vision directly correlates with the beliefs and values of Wade Hampton High School. Our philosophy is that our peers must be served with compassion and positivity, regardless of where they are in the writing process, in order to develop a strong growth mindset toward writing in all content areas. We strive to ensure that our peers leave our writing center with more confidence in their writing abilities, as well as a deeper connection with their own writing process.
