About Me
I am an educator with a passion for growth, learning, and inspiring others. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Georgia Southern University, and I am currently in my eighth year of teaching. This is my second year as part of the Wade Hampton Freshman Academy, where I am committed to helping students transition successfully into high school and achieve their full potential.
Along with my career in education, I spent eight years coaching college basketball—six as an assistant coach and two as a head coach—drawing on my own experiences as a semi-professional and professional basketball player. My time on the court taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, lessons I now bring into the classroom every day.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, staying active through physical fitness, gaming, and, most importantly, spending time with family and friends. Whether in athletics, academics, or personal growth, I believe in pushing boundaries, setting goals, and striving for excellence.
