Greetings! My name is Chrissy Welmaker, and I am honored to serve as your Sports Medicine teacher this year. As a native of Greenville, I am thrilled to return to the area and contribute to the education of our students. My passion lies in empowering students to achieve their goals, and my guiding principle is to be a positive influence by leaving a lasting impression wherever I go.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Lander University Honors College, as well as a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina. My clinical experience includes roles at JL Mann High School, Furman University, the Boston Red Sox Organization, Carolina Gamecock Football, and River Bluff High School.

In addition to my professional background, I have a diverse range of interests, including musical theater and running spartan races. I have two nephews, a dog named Pixie, and I was a college cheerleader. I look forward to an inspiring year ahead, where I aim to motivate and educate all of my students!
