AHS 102 is a dual enrollment course through Greenville Technical College. Because this is a college-level course, students will be expected to take responsibility for their coursework and maintain their assignments and deadlines. All assignments and course materials will be posted through the student’s Greenville Technical College Blackboard account. Students are responsible for regularly checking Blackboard and keeping up with all required work.
Students enrolled in AHS 102 will be treated as college students and will be expected to demonstrate the responsibility, independence, and work ethic expected at the college level. Please understand that I am unable to modify Greenville Technical College assignments, due dates, course requirements, or policies. Although this is a college course, students are still required to attend class at Riverside High School Monday through Thursday. There will be no AHS 102 class on Fridays.
Please encourage your student to check Blackboard regularly, communicate when they have questions, and stay ahead of assignments. Success in a dual enrollment course requires students to take ownership of their learning and responsibilities.
