How to earn some bonus points...

I offer you opportunities to earn some points, but it will cost you. "What's the cost," you ask? "Your time and effort," I reply.

Students will have one opportunity at the end of the quarter to earn points to improve their academic standing. This will be in the form of a major assessment (as prescribed by the instructor). Points earned will be added to the major grading category of the grade book. The student is responsible for choosing to participate in this extra credit, remediation/redo policy. 

Keep in mind that these bonus points alone will not be enough to earn a passing grade for the course. However, these points can certainly make the difference to bump your grade up a bit, perhaps enough to elevate your score to the next level. 

If you are willing to put in some work, some thought, some effort...then you have what it takes to earn some "extra" points for this class. Some optional work can include some Gizmos and the bonus assessments opportunities. The instructions for each is outlined for you on the subpages linked to this page. Further instructions will be provided by the instructor as needed.

Extra points can also be earned during quizzes and tests.
