Congratulations to the Riverside High School Speech and Debate Team for winning the Carolina Kickoff Novice Tournament held at Riverside on Saturday. In addition to winning the overall championship, several Riverside students won individual championships: Anamika Nair was a Double Champion in both Impromptu Speaking & Extemporaneous Speaking. The team of Zoe Liney-Stantial & Yaazhini Sudherson won Duo Interpretation. Other champions include Keris Garcia in Children’s Literature and Sophia Sangronis in Dramatic Interpretation.
