Message From PTSA President
Wow! We are just shy of a month into school and our parents and community have stepped up in their support of Riverside High. Thank you to those who have joined the PTSA. Thank you to those businesses who have sponsored our organization. Thank you to the volunteers who are serving up food and drinks to our students in the School Store. And thank you to those who have supported us through Family Friends of Riverside, Hospitality, and Staff Cake donations or purchased Spirit Wear. As we move into September, there will continue to be opportunities to get involved, especially in partnering with Student Council in their efforts to raise funds for The Meyer Center during Spirit Week. For more information on how to get plugged in, join the RHS PTSA HERE and select “Yes” to receive volunteer communications. Or add your name directly to our Volunteer List. You can also follow Riverside High on Social Media or feel free to contact me directly.
Thank you for your support!

Be a School Store Volunteer and Be Able to See Your Student in Their Element
Welcome back, Warrior families. For those who are new, we're glad to have you. As some of you are aware, RHS PTSA runs a school store that is open daily during lunches to serve snacks, drinks, and treats to students who wish to purchase. Last year, we had tremendous success and would like to keep the momentum going. We will be open for business beginning in mid-August.
With that said, we need volunteers! A consistent pool of volunteers would be a huge relief. It allows us to remain open each day. Believe it or not, there are quite a few kids who use our store as their lunch option for the day. Ideally, we’re looking for teams of 2 (or 3) to SIGN UP for once a month. So, find a friend, pick a day that works for you and commit to it for the year. Please note, if you're new and don't know what to do, no worries. Loree Hartzog will be happy to assist and teach you the ropes. It's very easy to learn.
The kids really do LOVE having the store open. Plus, the volunteers have a lot of fun. And, it's also a FANTASTIC (and sometimes only) way to see your kiddos during the day. Win-win for everyone. Thank you for considering.
