Due to the restrictions implemented by the State, electronic devices, including smartwatches and accessories, cannot be worn during the school day.
Personal electronic devices must be either turned off or silenced during the school day and must be placed in their bookbag.
New Student Enrollment Information
New Student Enrollment Information
Please click on the link below regarding enrolling your student for the 2025-2026 school year. You do not need to complete the online enrollment before June 1, 2025. Part of the requirements are to upload current proofs of residence, additional information is on the link below. These proofs of residence must have dates of service for the month of June, July or August, 2025. Please do not submit the Backpack enrollment until you have uploaded all required documents. We will review new enrollments beginning on June 17, 2025 and will contact you once we have completed the review. A counselor will reach out to you to discuss a class schedule. Typically, we have a large number of new student enrollments each summer, and we ask for your patience as we review all the information.
RHS will host an orientation a few days before school starts for your child to attend. There will be a tour of the school during orientation.
Parents are invited to attend an Open House program towards the end of August and will follow their child’s class schedule for a short visit in each classroom.

Please take the time to create a backpack account for parents. A backpack for parents account provides parents, guardians, or contacts with a central place to sign in to do the following:
View their student's information including demographics, attendance, classes, grades, lunch balances, and test scores
Apply or register their student to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)
Receive alerts and notifications regarding their students
View their student's school and contact information
Manage parent and contact information for their students
To create your parent backpack account follow the attached directions. Please note that parents only need to create a backpack account once. This is not an annual process.

Academic Time - Riverside High School will begin hosting Academic Time (tutoring) on Tuesday, September 3 from 4-5 p.m. Academic Time will be held every Tuesday & Thursday from 4-5 p.m. on the "G Hall". Students that wish to attend must be signed in by 4:00 p.m. or they will not be allowed to attend.

Pay close attention to the attendance policy. RHS is on a block schedule, therefore students are allowed 5 absences for a semester class and 3 for quarter class.
A reminder that All Early dismissal requests must be submitted by 12:00. The Google form will not be monitored after 12:00 pm. each day.
ALL dismissals will be processed in the order they are received. We CANNOT accommodate requests made for immediate dismissal.
Parents/guardians must come into the school if a student needs an immediate dismissal.
All early dismissal requests must be entered AT LEAST 1 hour before a student needs to leave.
