Robotics Success - Congratulations to the Riverside High School Robotics Team as it competed in the Uproar in the Upstate Saturday at JL Mann High School. The Warriors entered two robots in the competition. One robot qualified 21st out of 49 teams while the second robot won five matches. Congratulations to all students involved and Mr. Ben Horne for his leadership.
All-County Orchestra - Riverside High School hosted the Annual All-Greenville County Orchestra Friday as the County’s best middle and high school students came together to perform. Thank you to all teachers and RHS Orchestra Director Rich Harbison for his leadership.
Congratulations to the Riverside High School Speech & Debate Team for winning the 2025 Eagle Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament held Saturday at Eastside High School. In addition to winning the overall sweepstakes award, several Riverside students earned individual championships. Valeria de la Llave was a triple champion in Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, and Program Oral Interpretation. Jose Pena-Farias won Children’s Literature. Pena-Farias and partner Joshua Maxwell also won Duo Interpretation. Other champions include Hannah Liu in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Isabella Murillo in Extemporaneous Speaking, and Enyonam Toklo in Original Oratory.
