Warrior Families, 

As we bring this school year to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your incredible support. Whether as a volunteer in the School Store or one of our many events, a donor to our programs, or a member of our Board, your contributions continue to help Riverside keep ”Reaching for Higher Standards.” None of what PTSA does could be possible without you. 

I am proud to note the many accomplishments of our PTSA this year include:

• $14K+ in teacher and staff support and appreciation efforts,

• $12K in academic, club, and athletic mini-grants,

• $10K+ in student academic and support initiatives, including incentives to improve EOC testing results,

• SC Report Card Celebration to recognize students and staff for continued improvements,

• Vaping and mental health awareness programs for students

• Snacks for after-school tutoring and credit recovery,

• New irrigation system and grounds beautification efforts,

• Support of Veterans and Pupils in Poverty within our community,

…and we aren’t finished! We are still working with administration to upgrade the look and feel of our campus with additional branding and modernization efforts. Additionally, we have increased our mini-grant awards to $18K in 26-27, that is $6K for each of the Academics, Clubs and Organizations, and Athletics categories. 

Moving forward, we are required to publish our 2026-27 officer slate, nominating committee, and proposed budget prior to taking a General Membership vote. Please review the below information and contact the appropriate person with any additional nominations, questions or concerns. I will reach out to our PTSA members via email with the official ballots on May 14, 2026. 

It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as RHS PTSA's President the past two years and I look forward to supporting our 26-27 incoming officers.
