This year, I am thrilled to teach Math 6 and Math 6A at Greenville Middle Academy. I graduated from Presbyterian College in 1994 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and earned my Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies and Literacy from Converse College in 2018.
I began teaching at Greenville Middle Academy in 2009. Although I never initially imagined myself teaching middle school, Greenville Middle quickly won me over, and that’s where my love for math and middle-level students truly began.
I am married to a fellow Greenville County teacher, and we have four children who have all attended Greenville County Schools. This summer, I earned my certification in Gifted and Talented Education. In my free time, I enjoy playing with the Greenville Adaptive Pickleball Team, cooking, and spending time with family and friends—especially at the beach on Pawleys Island. I look forward to helping your student reach their fullest potential in math this year!
My office hours are Tuesday mornings from 7:30–8:30 a.m. If your student would like to come for extra help, please email me the day before so I can provide a note allowing them to come upstairs early on Tuesday morning.
