Traycee Bedford
Hello! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! The 2023-2024 school year is my eighth year at Chandler Creek. I am originally from Georgia. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2010, and in 2011, I obtained my certification in Special Education. I graduated in 2020 from Grand Canyon University with a Master's in Arts in Reading with an Emphasis in Early Education from Grand Canyon University.
My husband and I have two daughters, Emily and Katie. Emily is a freshman at Clemson University, and Katie is a Senior at Riverside High School. We have one pet, a dog named Arlo. When not spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, visiting the beach, and volunteering within the community!
Megan McAbee
A Little About Myself...
I am a Greer girl born and raised. After graduating from Greer High School, I furthered my education at Greenville Technical College, where I graduated with a degree in Bio/Science. After college, I married my high school sweetheart Jarman McAbee. We have three beautiful girls, Hayli, Kenzley, and Marley James. After spending most of my ten-year career in the medical field, I knew something was missing. I wanted to follow my heart and pursue my passion for teaching. I have found my dream job and enjoy knowing I can make a positive difference in a child’s life.
Lisa Best
My name is Lisa Best. I am excited to work with Mrs. Bedford and Mrs. McAbee this year. This is my 24th year here at Chandler Creek. I am a graduate of Syracuse University. My husband, Jay, and I moved to South Carolina from Pennsylvania 27 years ago. I love NOT shoveling snow! We have two sons, one daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters, who keep us all on our toes!
