Hello! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! The 2025-2026 school year is my ninth year at Chandler Creek. I am originally from Georgia. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2010, and in 2011, I obtained my certification in Special Education. I graduated in 2020 from Grand Canyon University with a Master of Arts in Reading with an Emphasis in Early Education. I am currently pursuing my Education Specialist degree at Arkansas State University.
My husband, Chris, and I have two daughters, Emily and Katie. Emily attends Greenville Technical College, and Katie is a research assistant. We have one pet, a dog named Arlo. When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, painting, visiting the beach, and volunteering in the community.
A Little About Myself...
I am a Greer girl born and raised. After graduating from Greer High School, I furthered my education at Greenville Technical College, where I graduated with a degree in Bio/Science. After college, I married my high school sweetheart Jarman McAbee. We have three beautiful girls, Hayli, Kenzley, and Marley James. After spending most of my ten-year career in the medical field, I knew something was missing. I wanted to follow my heart and pursue my passion for teaching. I have found my dream job and enjoy knowing I can make a positive difference in a child’s life.
Hi, I’m Mrs. Johnson!
I was born and raised in Hawaii, and I’m a proud mom to four boys—ages 24, 19, 9, and 8. Life with boys is always loud, exciting, and full of fun adventures!
I love being outdoors—whether I’m fishing, exploring nature, or getting a little muddy at the track. I’m also very creative and enjoy crafting and crocheting (I even once made a whole blanket at a trampoline park!).
My favorite colors are green, black, and camo, and I love spicy foods—especially Asian and Mexican dishes. I’m always ready for a road trip, and I think life is more fun when you can laugh and be a little silly. 🤪
I’m so excited to be part of our school family, and I can’t wait to help you learn, grow, and have fun this year!
