Textbooks

Eastside High School assigns textbooks to students using unique barcodes.  

• Many textbooks are available virtually through the Student Backpack.  Not all classes 

• will use a physical copy of the book.

Students are encouraged to photograph the barcode of each textbook and write their name inside each textbook.  

Students must return their assigned textbooks to avoid any lost book fees. 

• Students are responsible for any damaged or lost textbooks.

Duplicate sets of textbooks can only be issued if the student has an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) or 504 plan that specifies a need for an additional set of textbooks.  

For questions regarding eligibility for a duplicate set of textbooks, please contact the IEP or 504 plan case manager.
