Round 3: February 5th-March 4th
*Appling during Rounds #2-#6 limits the likelihood of your child being approved for a magnet slot for Stone Academy. We are happy to process your child’s magnet application during Rounds #2-#6, but we want you to be aware that the waitlist at Stone Academy starts at the close of Round #1. We want you informed to be prepared for the possible outcome.

How to Apply On-Line:
**Create a Parent Backpack account if you have not already. Before beginning the application process, you must first create a Parent Backback Account.
Log into your Parent Backpack account.
Click on the child you wish to apply to the Magnet Program
if your child is new to Greenville County Schools or you do not see your child's name at the top add him or her by clicking the outlined face and + button and click on Add a Non-District Student.
If your child has been in a Greenville County school you should see his or her name across the top
Select "Programs" from the column on the left. Then select "Apply to a Program."
Available programs will show on the screen. Select "Apply" beside each Magnet Academy you wish to apply.
Parents will be able to apply for multiple magnet academies in the online system. Once submitted you can not go back and apply for another Magnet School. It is advised to click on them all now because the magnet application is submitted only once. Parents should make sure to select all schools for which their student desires to apply and complete all sections of the application before selecting submit.
