Personal Finance

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Personal Finance. I am Stacy Galli and I will be teaching Accounting 1 and Personal Finance this year. I hold a Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University. According to the state of South Carolina, I am certified and Highly Qualified to teach Middle Level and Secondary Mathematics, and Business, Marketing, or Technology Education. I look forward to a very productive year. Our ability to have a successful year is dependent on many things that the students and their parents must help take responsibility for. Those things include:

Expectations--- Please be on time, prepared, and respectful of others' opinions, thoughts and ideas. Follow all school rules and behavioral expectations as outlined in the student handbook. The students are expected to be able to follow these rules without intervention on my part. If they are unable to do so, then consequences will be issued according to the school discipline policy.

Attendance--- I expect students to be in class, on time, each day. When they are absent it is expected that they will immediately get any make-up work, notes, etc. that they may have missed due to their absence, in order for their grades not to suffer. Consequences will be given to those students having excessive tardies to class. 

Textbook--- Managing Your Personal Finances 7th edition

Supplies--- Each student is expected to have a pencil, binder, notebook paper, dividers, and charged Chromebook everyday. 

Tutoring--- I am available by appointment to assist your student with learning. Please email me to schedule an appointment.
