 Reading Intervention

Reading Intervention, commonly referred to as RtI, or Response to Intervention, is a service provided to identified students who could use an extra push with reading skills.  RtI incorporates extra instruction in all areas of reading: fluency, phonics, phonetics, vocabulary, and comprehension. ENSA provides this instruction through a research-based  systematic program of Leveled Literacy Instruction (Fountas & Pinnell).  Our goal is for  all students to become skilled readers reading on their grade level as soon as possible. We believe we can achieve this with our support staff and teachers working together in conjunction with our LLI program.   Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding our Reading Intervention program.
