About me: This is my 7th year working in education. I spent two years as a special education aide, and this will be my fifth year as a teacher! I am on year three at REC; I previously worked in Charleston County.
Outside of teaching I enjoy reading, doing anything sports related, spending time with family and my two dogs, and taking photos. Last fall, I began pursuing a master's degree in school leadership.

My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and have two children who both attended the University of South Carolina, along with three dogs and one cat. Although Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will always be home to our family, we’ve had the opportunity to live in several states through my husband’s job.
I began my career in early childhood education while living in Dubuque, Iowa, where I earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and worked with 3- and 4-year-olds. Since then, I’ve taught and supported students in Illinois, Kentucky, and now South Carolina. This is my fourth year at Robert E. Cashion, with the first two years in the Intermediate IDMOD classroom. I love helping young learners grow, explore, and discover their potential every day.
