Who is Mrs. Cox?
I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. I am happily married to the greatest man in the world! We were married in Summerville, SC on March 31, 2007. We one dog that is a 16 year old dachshund named Chloe. We also have a sweet little boy named Carter who is in the eighth grade.
As a child I loved to play outside all the time. I played sports from the time I was little until I completed college. I also struggled a lot through school. I was diagnosed with ADHD. I was never good at tests and hated sitting still. I believe that my experiences with ADHD and test taking difficulties are a great asset to help children with the same struggles.
I attended North Greenville University. Where I spent four years pursuing my Bachaelor of Arts Degree in Education. After graduation, I was a substitute for Greenville County Schools for six months. This is my twentieth year teaching and I love teaching here at Gateway. I feel I am the luckiest person in the world to work with such special children and faculty everyday!
