My name is Simone Walter and I'm so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year! This is my fourth year teaching 4th grade at East North Street Academy, and I know we will have a great year together! I graduated from The University of South Carolina in 1997 where I earned my BA in Liberal Arts. I worked in Publishing for several years before deciding to go back to school to add Elementary Education to my degree, making me a highly qualified teacher. I am a product of Greenville County Schools, having attended Brushy Creek Elementary, Buena Vista Elementary, Northwood Middle, and Riverside High School. Though South Carolina is my home, I've also lived in Canada, Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. When I'm not teaching, I am always with my family! My husband Alex, my sons Elliott (13 in 8th grade) and Jonah (11 in 6th grade), and our 4 year old daughter Iris.

We also have a new addition to our family, a golden retriever named Mabel.
