Physical Activity Fitness Club

The Westcliffe physical education department is excited to be able to promote physical activity at home. One way we are striving to do this is though the Physical Activity Fitness Club. All students are encouraged to participate in some form of physical activity outside of the school day for a minimum of 15 minutes. As your child completes their physical activity you can fill in the squares on the calendar below. When your child has filled in all 20 squares they can return the form to the school and turn it in to Coach Eron. For every 20 days (one completed chart / log below) of physical activity that your child completes they can turn it in for a “fitness foot” that can be worn as a symbol of their accomplishment. As your child gets to 10 and 25 fitness feet they will get a special token to signify these accomplishments. Any open squares below can be filled in once your child completes 15 minutes of physical activity outside of the school day. Parents, grandparents, coaches, daycare workers, etc. can initial a square to signify completion of 15 minutes of physical activity. Any open squares can be filled in with any type of physical activity (soccer, baseball, football, running, walking, biking, playing outside, playing in the back yard, etc.).
