About Me

My name is Ashley Hipp and this is my 13th year teaching! I am so excited to teach your second grader! This is such a special year!

I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from North Greenville University. Then, I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. I have also received my ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsement.

I was born in Greenville and grew up in Simpsonville. I met my husband, Josh, while we were in college. Since getting married in 2013, we have adopted 3 cats. One is a gray tabby named Kit, one is a black and white tuxedo named Severus, and the third newest edition is a black cat named Lulu. We also have 2 children, Evangeleene and Desmond. Evangeleene is 9 and Desmond is 4. We live in Greer and love the community around us!

In my free time, I love just being with my family. We like to play outside and go to the park. I also like to sit down and read with a good book. I own my own photography business and also own my own sourdough business. You can also frequently find me tending to my garden and house plants!
