Safety Patrol Information

Morning (AM) Safety Patrols: Students must arrive for duty at 7:10 am.

Afternoon (PM) Safety Patrols: Students must be available to stay on post until 2:50 pm.

Parent Communication

The Safety Patrol sponsors will be in regular communication with parents with updates through the Remind App. Please make sure that you are set up to get these notifications. Contact one of the sponsors if you are not set up for Remind.

Which habits do you use as a Safety Patrol and how do you use those habits?

"I use Habit 6: Synergize, because when I do Patrol, I like to talk to all the kids and help them get there safely to their destination."

"The habit I use for being a Patrol is Habit 1, being proactive, as being captain I need to make sure that when people are absent, I need to switch around different people so that every single post gets their job done."

"The habit I use as a Safety Patrol is probably Sharpen the Saw the most because while doing bus tags it's a lot of fun because a bunch of kids ask you questions about Safety Patrol and what you do."

"I use Habit 1, that's being proactive, because while you are a Patrol you have to be proactive because the things you do around here, you get relied on. You need the bus tags to get home and to go to school."

Why did you choose Safety Patrols as your leadership position?

The reason I chose Safety Patrol as a job is because I have two other siblings who are younger than me and that being the oldest takes a lot of hard work and dedication to take care of others."
