Welcome to a quick "peek" at Mrs. Knox. This is my 42nd year of teaching at Mauldin Elementary! It is hard to believe how fast the time goes by!! I am a 1984 graduate of Columbia College with a BA degree in Early Childhood Education. I received my Masters degree from Furman University in 1995 in the area of Reading Education. I attend many inservices and continuing ed courses to keep abreast of new changes and trends in education.
I recently married my high school sweetheart. I am the mother of three wonderful children. I have 2 boys, Jay and Will (daughter-in-law Morgan) and one daughter, Lexie (mini me). I'm definitely a PROUD MAMA and DEEDEE to a precious grandson and another grandchild on the way!!!!
I grew up in Canada and moved to the United States in 1974. I attended Hillcrest Middle School and am a 1981 graduate of Mauldin High. I became a citizen of the United States in 1995. At my house, we cheer LOUD and PROUD for the GAMECOCKS!!!! I'm also, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, a Breast Cancer Survivor for since 2016 . :)
I am truly enjoying Kindergarten! It sure does keep you young and tired!! :)
I am really excited to have the opportunity to work with your precious children! Thanks for taking the time to visit my site! Check out the other pages for some useful information!
Please stop in for a visit or join us for lunch one day . . . we'd love to see you!
Mrs. Paradiso
Hello! I am so excited to be starting my 5th year with GCS and my 4th year at MES. Working with children has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I love helping little learners grow, build confidence, and discover new things each day. It is such a blessing to help each child feel special and loved.
I have been happily married for 45 years and am the proud mother of six wonderful children and "Grammie" to four amazing grandchildren.
I was born in Tennessee and grew up in sunny Florida, where I became a lifelong Florida Gator fan. I also love the NY Yankees. Sports is a big deal at my house.
I look forward to getting to know each student and family and making this a wonderful year of learning together!
