About Me

Hello, I'm Ms. Sutton. I enjoy spending time with my friends and having adventures. I also enjoy going to hear live bands, dancing, kayaking, and hiking. 

I have a B.S. degree in Theatre Arts, a Masters in Library Science, and a Masters Level-Specialization in Computer Education all from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. I am proud to have received the ECU Broadcasting and Library Science Graduate Student of the Year award while working on my Masters in Library Science. I began my teaching career as an elementary Theatre Arts teacher in my hometown of Kinston, N.C. From there I went to the Neuse Regional Public Library system as a professional storyteller. When my son was nearing the age to go to school, I went back into the school system as an elementary Media Specialist. I have also been a high school Media Specialist, Technology Facilitator/Educational Technology Specialist, and a technology teacher throughout my education career.
