All about Me!

My name is Zane Riddle. I am embarking on my 5th year of teaching! I am from Simpsonville, South Carolina. I attended Plain Elementary, Ralph Chandler Middle School, and Brashier Middle College Charter High School. 

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in History and then in 2021 with a Master's Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. 

My favorite periods to study are medieval Europe, the Renaissance, World War I, and the Holocaust. 

I met my wife, Ashleigh, in college. We were married in January of 2023. We welcomed our son, Ryder, in April of 2024. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our dog, Ragnar, and our 1-year-old, Ryder.  

I am a huge Disney fan and sports fan. Peter Pan, Donald Duck, and Remy are my favorite characters. I also enjoy attending football and baseball games. I am a lifelong Clemson fan.
